Thank you for choosing PAK Photography. I aim to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience for both you and your pet, and to deliver images you’ll treasure for years. These Terms & Conditions help ensure everything runs smoothly, clearly, and safely for everyone involved. If you have any questions at any point, I’m always happy to help.

1. Definitions

• “Client” refers to the person booking the photography session, including any authorised representatives.

• “Photographer” refers to Bethanie Young and any approved affiliates of PAK Photography.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session, the Client confirms they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Booking, Fees & Consultations, excludes Gift Vouchers, see section 13

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session date.

• The remaining balance is due one week before your session.

• A pre‑session consultation will be arranged to confirm all details. This can be done by phone or email—whichever you prefer.

• After your session, you’ll be invited to an in‑person Viewing Session to enjoy your images and select any artwork or products you’d like to purchase.

4. Deposit Protection excludes Gift Vouchers, see section 13

• Your 50% deposit secures your date and time.

• Deposits are fully refundable up to 14 days before your session.

• If you cancel within 14 days, the deposit becomes non‑refundable.

• If the Photographer must cancel, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a new date of your choice.

5. Client Responsibilities

To help create the best possible images:

• Please cooperate with the Photographer’s guidance during the session.

• The Photographer cannot be held responsible for missed images due to a lack of cooperation.

6. Photographer Responsibilities

• The Photographer will provide a safe, calm, and professional environment.

• While every effort is made to capture beautiful images, specific poses or outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

7. Creative Control

• The Photographer maintains full artistic control over the session and final images.

• Only images that meet professional standards will be delivered.

• The Photographer’s creative judgment is final.

8. Copyright & Usage

• The Photographer retains full copyright to all images.

• Clients receive unwatermarked, full-size digital files for any images purchased.

• The Photographer may display any photographs created in their studio, on their website, social networking sites, portfolio, literature, competitions or advertising. If you do not want your images used in this way, please confirm in writing.

• Images may not be altered, sold, or used commercially without written permission.

9. Editing & Retouching

• Purchased images must not be altered by the Client.

• Watermarks, where present, must not be removed.

• Additional retouching requests may incur an extra fee.

10. Products, Orders & Payments

• Session fees do not include printed products or digital files unless specifically stated.

• Orders are processed once full payment is received and cannot be changed after this point.

11. Model Release

The Client grants PAK Photography and Bethanie Young permission to photograph their pet(s), themselves, and their property for the purpose of creating and delivering the commissioned images.

12. Cancellations & Rescheduling, excludes Gift Vouchers, see section 14

• Sessions can be rescheduled for free due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.

• If you cancel your session completely more than 14 days before the date, your deposit is fully refundable.

• If you cancel your session completely within 7 days (one week) of your session date, all payments made are non-refundable.

13. Gift Vouchers: Booking, Fees & Consultations: 

• Gift vouchers must be paid for in full at the point of ordering and are non-refundable.

• Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The photography session must be booked and taken before this expiry date.

• A pre‑session consultation will be arranged to confirm all details with the gift recipient. This can be conducted by phone or email.

• The unique gift voucher reference number must be provided at the time of booking the session.

• After the photography session, recipients will be invited to a Viewing Session to view their images and select any artwork or products they would like to purchase.

14. Gift Vouchers: Cancellations & Rescheduling:

• Sessions can be rescheduled for free due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.

• If the recipient cancels the session completely or fails to show up without 24 hours' notice, the gift voucher will be forfeited and invalidated at the discretion of the photographer.

15. Safety & Liability

• The Client is responsible for the behaviour and safety of their dog(s) during the session.

• The Photographer is not liable for injury, damage, or loss caused by the Client’s pet.

16. Data Protection

Client information is stored securely and used only for communication and service delivery. For more information, see the Privacy Policy at www.PAK-Photography.co.uk. By booking a session, the Client confirms they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, and are aware of the Privacy Policy.

17. Limit of Liability

• The Photographer’s maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client.

• The Photographer is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

18. Force Majeure

• The Photographer is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., extreme weather, illness, emergencies).

• If rescheduling is not possible, liability is limited to payments made for services not yet provided, excluding non‑refundable deposits

19. Refunds

• We want you to love your images! Because digital downloads, USBs, and custom artwork are personalized and cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds. In the rare event that something isn’t right, please let us know—we will do everything we can to resolve the issue.

20. Agreement

By booking a session with PAK Photography, the Client confirms their agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
